Hi

On the 'server' we have XP professional with ICS. Clients can use internet and the printer which is connected to this server.
After I configured ICS I configured the VPN server.

From home I am able to make a VPN connection (it accepts my username/password), but I am NOT able to connect to the share (on that server).

Any idea ?

What VPN are you using? Possible that the shared have not been configured properly for access?

are you talking about the remote desktop stuff? That's not really a VPN if you are.
Is there another program you are using for this?
And what share are you reffering too?

No, the 'remote desktop stuff' has to do with TS (Terminal Services). When I say VPN I mean VPN. See the article by Thomas Shindler 'Configure Windows XP professional to be a VPN server).

The share I refer to is a common data share on de server.

This moment I focus on the credentials. Within VPN I can make user accounts en give these users certain rights.
So tomorrow I am off the streets finding out how to VPN to this server.
