Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005

Um no to get in your going to pay $400 depending on what event you go to. They generally give out free stuff but it isn't promised. But I do agree they probably will give it away but you still have to pay to be at the event.

MSDN is another way it can be free. But again there is the subscription fee.

Besides these I don't know of any other ways to get it cheap.

well i don't see that anywhere on the site. i did however see where it says "FREE ADMITTANCE"....

if i'm wrong, point it out to me so i know.

Hm good point I didn't see that I was basing it off of most events they have. It also says complimentary software not "here take this $1200 piece of software for free" It'll will probably be samples or the "express" version of VS 2005 if you have free admitance.
