I have a turion 64 bit processor and tried to install vista ultimate as a virtual machine but it denied it because my processor can't handle it for some reason. Why wouldn't it if its a 64 bit processor... single core... 2gh? Also... will vista ultimate 64 bit install on a pentium 4 3gh dual core?

Do you have a 64bit motherboard? What is the processor model number?
It could be that the Virtual Machine doesnt recognize both the cores to allow for the 64 Bit install. That would be the first thing to check. Cause Vista 64 Bit will isntall on any 64 Bit enabled machine. Are you sure in your BIOS you have 64 Bit enabled?
