Vista SP2 Public Release Candidate Coming Soon
The public preview for Vista Service Pack 2 is coming soon, according to PCWorld. A preliminary release candidate has been available to select testers for a couple of months but a public RC will be more widely available during the week of Feb. 16-20. An “escrow build†of SP2 was made available to testers this past Wednesday.

An “escrow build†of SP2 was made available to testers this past Wednesday.
An "escrow" build is a version on which development has stopped but that is handed to developers and testers, who are asked to shake out the code one final time to make sure there are no show-stopping bugs.
