Vista search in Russian?!

Hi there

Whenever I go to search for a file from my taskbar, the text I type appears in russian characters. I have no idea how this happened, and it only occurs in search.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. I checked that and it all seems normal. Problem still persists with a restart.

Have you checked your language and region settings in the control panel? Have you checked to make sure that you havent installed the Russian Language pack?
