Default Vista Question

Does anyone know what the difference between 32bit and 64bit windows vista?

Im looking at:

scorptec.com.au/browse/28/122

And I am unsure which one to buy. Please explain the different versions to me. Thanks

Pros:
64 bit version will be faster

accept more RAM up to 128Ggigs compared to 32 which might have a limit of 4gigs

Cons:
lacks driver support for graphics, motherboards,wireless devices,audio etc

compatibility problems with games and software

stick with 32 bit unless u got like 5 gigs or more, but 64 bit lacks some suppot for some game and apps and drvers

Actually the 32 Bit can also support 128GB of RAM. It isnt limited to 4GB anymore like it was for XP.

64Bit will only be faster if you have at least 2 GB of RAM. If ot 32 Bit will be faster. There was speed tests already done by PCMag.

I cant find a link to it on thier site but it is from the February issue.
