I was just wondering, will putting the processor power settings to something like Min. 80% Max. 100% disable sleep mode? I want my computer to be as fast as possible, but that hybrid sleep mode looks pretty cool. Also, will setting the processor power higher cause anything else's power to get bumped down? Lastly, will setting the processor power management too high damage the processor, damage the outlet/surge protector, blow a fuse, etc? I'll be getting a Gateway FX8040 quad-core with Windows Vista Ultimate Edition on Sept. 18.
