Ive tried using Vista's built-in disk management stuff, but whenever I try and shrink my XP partition so I can resize my Vista partition, it says that there are 0 bytes free to shrink, when there is 25GB free. What should I do? I remember the last time I used a third-party partitioning tool, I had a **** of a time getting Vista back and running.

Did you try the Gparted Live CD? It's an iso you can download and burn to a bootable CD. It can shrink a partition and resize another one without trouble, and it's free. I've used it on Windows partitions and it didn't give me any trouble. Just a word of warning, though. It can take a very long time if you have to shrink one and grow another one. Especially if it has to move everything in your partition to a different place on the hard drive.

The partitions are right next to eachother, so shrinking would be fast, but expanding, yeah, I guess it would have to move all the files over. Thanks, Ill give it a shot!
