Only Vista Ultimate has both the 32 Bit and 64 Bit on the DVD. Every other version you have to buy seperate.

Other than that i would say OEM.

Is Windows Vista going to cost more for 64-bit, like Windows XP?

That shouldnt be so. But i can not confirm it at this time. All i do know is that 64 Bit is on the Ultimate disc. Other than that the prices should be the same. I have not heard from anyone at M$ to say any different.

At this time i have not seen nor heard anything about the pricing being any different. All signs show that they will be the same just x86 or x64.

Retail can be installed zillions of times without having to buy a new copy. OEM doesn't have fancy packaging and can only be re-installed (3) times.

looks like newegg has vista 64-bit for $200

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116215

but its shipping on the 30th. and is different from the $600 3-DVD pack:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116216

But i am confused on how the 3-pack is better than the much cheaper 1-pack.
