Vista black screen with cursor

Hi :)

The same thing happend to my laptop with windows VISTA, myself, i don't really like vista, but, i will be happy to help. Ok, it could be that you have done a recent update and that you need to wait for a long time, OR, you might have some type of virus/spyware. But most probaly corrupt hard disk. (I'm 11 years old, pretty smart hey?)

It's not my computer, working on it at work ;). Already formatted it though. So far things were going good. Was just copying files back over and doing Windows Update before I left for work. Will check back on monday to see how its doing.
