Is it really worth waiting for? I've been thinking of getting a new computer (I was considering an HP Media Center package) but then I heard about Vista. Would Vista come installed with a new computer or would it be separately paid?

Its not out yet. They are still creating driver packages.
As far as being "Worth" it ? Thats all opinion.
Once it is a public OS, It will come installed on machines that you order.

Vista is about a year away, so if you wait that long... I guess when it does come out you can install it on your HP.
