dude i dont use that computer in my sig for anything important obviously. my family computer is the one that was screwed up. anyway, the same thing happened again. i have avg and evertime i run that, all my fonts are again messed up. i think avg is the problem. ill just uninstall that for a while and get another AV in the meantime and see if the problem ceases.

i think you just need a used pentium 2 350 mhz and you'll be fine for xp, maybe the processor cant handle xp and the fonts screw up!

no, you guys dont seem to understand. the comp in my sig is not the one that is messed up. my family comp is the one that is screwing up. it is running celeron @ 750 MHz. i know that still isnt great but it is fine for just SoHo use. my fonts and everything are fine now since i havent run avg. i just uninstalled it and reinstalled and im going to run the virus scan again and if my comp messes up again then i know for sure that it is avg.
