VirtualDub: Compression

Hi,last week i compress one of my simpsons episode Mpeg (220Mb ) to avi file (100mb) ,and it works!
But yesterday after I compress another episode , the audio does not match with the video when i play it ! i use divx pro 5.05 to compress video and Mpeg-3 for the audio compression


Pls advise !

Split the mpeg into its video and audio.

Open the video file in VDub and in VIDEO use the Scan Video Stream for Errors....any bad frames will put the audio out of sync with the video when muxing.

If your using MPeg3 for the audio try using Nandub to combine the audio to the video (its a Vdub mod..very useful).
