VirtualBox - Is this possible?

OK, I have an old Windows 3.1 game. Called Qpro, if you know of it.

I want to virtually run Windows DOS 6.22 or 3.1 from an ISO or IMG (floppy)

Is there a possible way to do so?

Everything I tried so far failed.

I could get into DOS with an ISO, but I could not load it with the game inserted. I suspect there are hidden boot files, but in Windows 7, you can't see them. I could try virtually running a virtual system within a virtual OS (98/2000/XP)

Have you tried this? Run old DOS based programs in newer OS's without the hassle.
