Default Virtual PC/Other Options

I've been using Virtual PC for a while now, but I've heard there are some other technologies out there that may be faster, have better features, etc. Has anyone used either Parallels or VMware (or anything else for that matter), and if so, do you have any comments on them?

I have used VMWare and ti was a great app for what it is. Personally i dont have much of a need for Virtual Machines so i dont use them anymore.

does anyone have an experience w/ Parallels? I'm just curious since it is about a quarter of the price of VMware.
