Default Video Update being retarded?

So I download th update for my video card with vista 32mb premium and when i go to install the driver this error pops up

"Setup detected that the operating system in use is not Windows Vista(32bit)
and it says it only runs on that....

well it is! why does this error come up??

can anyone help me because I just got fable and it works fine I can play all the way through where your village gets raided and then the screen goes black for the next part but I can hear all the sound and hear me move and attack when i push the buttons??

also when I first run the game it says my processor is not fast enough to run the game when I have have 2 processors rated at 3.2ghz 1.6 each but it runs fine up until that point

did you shut down completely after uninstalling? a reboot = not enough

Shane you seem to be having alot of problems with Windows Vista. Why not just downgrade to windows XP and save yourself all these problems. That way when windows Vista is more stable then it is you can upgrade back with your Vista disc.

good gracious I want to but I dont know how other than buying a xp cd and I cant afford that and i should have to lol

is there any way to go xp?
