Video Players/Codecs Broken: WMP11/VLC

whenever I play an .avi video in WMP11, I get a pixelated diagonal line across the screen from upper left to lower right, above which there's a time lag on the video track, rendering it unwatchable.

whenever I plan an .avi video in VLC, the red and blue colors are reversed. That's it - only the red and blue hues are affected, but it's really distracting and annoying. Red is blue, blue is... some weird shade of orange.

Which OS.

XP use the KLite,CCCP and the AC3Filter codecs

Vista use the Vista Codec Pack and teh CCCP.

And I am using CCCP and AC3Filter already, as well as the latest DivX/XviD Codecs.

Have you tried the KLite? There are a few in there that are not in the AC3 and CCCP.

Other than that it could be that you have to use WMP classic. There are a few files that i have downloaded in the past that wont play on WMP or VLC. For those i had to use WMP Classic.
