Default video driver stopped responding

lately my games have been crashing then a message bubble pops up saying video driver stopped responding but has recovered, I have looked everywhere for a fix to this but cannot seem to find one.
My driver version is forceware 163

You have the latest drivers. Guess they still have bugs to work out. Roll them back to a older version see if that helps. If not will avhe to wait for nVidia to release new ones.

Beta drivers are never for everday use. They are for testing. That is why they are beta. They are known to have bugs in them.

Ive been using the 169.25 beta drivers and was getting the freeze up. Turning Aero off fixed that. However, Im looking into a few hotfixes put out by nVidia / M$ that are meant to fix that specific error

Hotfixes

any version of nvidia past 100 just flat out suck and is buggy. if you are saavy enuff you can use the old driver with the new control panel. the new control panel kicks arse
