Default video conversion

my camera codes video in MP4 format, but i want AVI videos because i want to make the video into a GIF in imageready. so is there a way to convert mp4 to avi?

i think you can try to change the extension of the file from mpeg to avi ,
follow this way to see your extension that helps you to rename the file extension
Open "Explore" click on Tool -> Folder Option -> View -> untick "Hide extision from known files"

should work since mp4 is a compress form of avi
