Very Strange Problem - Lagging and Audio Buzzing

Hey guys, I have Windows XP 32-Bit... Toshiba Satellite A205-S4629


Today, I was minding my own business, and I was on Youtube just listening to some Beethoven.... ALL OF A SUDDEN... the audio began to lag and buzz, and now my computer is a bit slower and my audio is buzzing........

Anybody ever have this problem????????????

Come to think of it.... I was having some minor slowdowns a few days earlier............ Is there something that could be wrong here?
