Default UserData Folder

Hi, a while ago, I have no idea from what, a folder showed up called UserData here C:\Documents and Settings\Ted\UserData. In this folder there are some blank folders (0T0BOV8R, IP07EHY1, O9CLEN4D, YFI7IHUR are the folder names) and a DAT File called index. I have no idea where this stuff came from and when I opened the index file this was at the top, Client UrlCache MMF Ver 5.2. I have searched for this on google and found that it is spyware. Can anyone confirm this, because I ran spyware programs and it found nothing. Should I also delete this? Thanks.

I have that file too and those empty folder, I bet everyone does. It's related to Microsoft Updates. Deleting it shouldn't cause any problem, it however will return when you visit Windows Update because it's use to hold temporary file for the updates. But just becareful, I don't take responsiblity for your action if you messed your computer up. LOL
