Question uploading Avitar to Tech-Forums

I have been messing with uploading my own Avitar to use on the forum and just need to know what format I have to save it as so that I can upload properly... Thanks guys!!!

you need to past a 250 post limit for a custom avatar
then jpg with a size limit
100 x 100 size or 26.4 KB
