I (foolishly) went to an adult web site. It was advertised as free, but when getting there found after 3 days you have to pay.
So I immediatley unsubscribed.
The problem is my desk top keeps getting shortcuts put on it for various adult sites, this is also true for IE.

The task bar has another selction of links I don't want.

I delete them yet they come back!

How do I permanently get rid of them?

great response. also look for unfamiliar entries in the add/remove programs in the control panel

HTH

That and if you go to an adult site, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, download anything. ever ever ever.

learned a lesson there.
Still get an offensive junk email.
Will blocking sender prevent me from getting/seeing them again?
Wish to protect inoccents (wife and child).

block the entire domain not just the adress I.E.: @porn.com.

if you want adult content for free check out picwarehouse.com. there are no pop-ups or files to download. just tons and tons of free pictures and short movies. the links to free content on that site is endless and their links connect to other free sites.

or better yet clem, if you want to save the hassle of searching send me a PM and i will give you access to my 5GB collection of 20,000 pictures and tons of movies. purely for research purposes, of coarse.........all virus, fake-links, advertisement free. hope ya got a broadband connection ;)
