Unusual Problem

Hi there.

I have the following problem:

I have a server that runs a few operating systems.

When I boot the machine, it asks me which OS I would like to load, so I choose a number (through the keyboard). The "funny" thing comes after I choose an OS.
Say I choose Win 2000 Advanced Server. After it loads the system, and where it asks for the user and pass, my keyboard stop working. Also, I am not able to see the mouse. I know that both the keyboard and mouse are working.

I would be thankful, if anyone could direct me on how to approach this problem.

Are they PS2 or USB?

i think someone else was having the same problem. his fix was to switch from USB to PS2, or was it PS2 to USB? reinstalling the OS will fix it too i think.

They are PS2.

I have the 2000 Advanced server cd, and when I tried to do the Recovery Repair, i get a DOS prompt, where it is asking me which version of windows I want to repair/install. And then I have no idea what to do. I pointed to c:/winnt ... but nothing worked.

Help pls?

wonder if it may be problems in the boot.ini file because thats what NT uses for dual boot systems.

what oses do you have installed? and what bootloader are you using? I've seen problems with the lilo bootloader and linux/windows system, but that was a usb keyboard that mucks stuff up.
