Default Unmountable boot volume

Hi there

Will a clean install of windows xp cure the above???

Okay what kind of error are you getting? Just the unmountable boot volume? Or is it like missing hal.dll or something else.

I cant answer the question cause i dont have all the info needed. Is it a good hard drive? Are the jumpers set correctly? HAve you tried to fix this error?

A plain format and install could work. If there is nothing wrong with the BIOS or drive.

the cure all for Unmountable boot volumes. spinrite 6.0. you get to keep your data too
