My problem is that I've uninstalled Vista and now my computer still has the vista boot page at startup. I can't get windows XP to be the default boot agent, I don't know how this BCDEDIT.EXE program is still on there because I've completely erased the partition that vista was on. Any idea where this file is?

Here is a picture of partition magic showing my partitions: http://img82.imageshack.us/img82/6151/partitionwx4.jpg

It is because Vista Boot manager )BCD) takes priority over XP's. That is why it is still there. Insert your XP Disc and do a fixboot, fixmbr or google EasyBCD and remove the Vista boot manager.
