Default uninstalling mcafee viruscan

im trying to uninstall mcafee viruscan professional 8.0 cuz when it loads it says theres files missing. i try to reinstall but it wont let me cuz it says that i currently have a newer version installed(cuz i have done the updates) I go to add/remove programs and when i try to uninstall it gives me a script error and doesnt uninstall and i have to ctrl+alt+del to get rid of the screen. any way i can remove this prog another way?

Go to Mcafees site and see if they have a remove tool. I know Norton does, but that doesnt help you.

Check it out. its worth a try!
