Unable to duplicate the cd data

Hi there, recently i had decided to make a duplicate data cd from one of my game using roxio software. I manage to do so but when i try to play my game from the duplicate cd, it keep promting the retry and plese reinsert the cd again? Any advise that can be done?

Is there anything i could do? Like playing without cd because my cd had scratches everywhere which i feer may be unreadable soon
