Default unable to create partition in disk management

I have a server running windows 2000. it has a hardware raid 5 pack split into several partitions. In computer management, disk management I have nearly 20gb showing as unallocated space. when i try to cretae a partition in this space the option is greyed out. any ideas??

Maybe the account you are logged on as does not have enough rights to create partitions.

Did you try to create a partition while logged ?
