Default Tweaking

I really need some help on tweaking my systems performance. I have tried things like TweakUI but all it is is a program that allows you to click a button instead of search registry. So, it isn't all that useful.
My computer is slow on bootup(even after clearing prefetch), and I was wondering if anyone happened to know of a good tweaking program that can help increase system performance?

1) go start run then type "msconfig" then go to the start up tab, disable all stuff but your Anti virus and Firewall

2) right clik on mycomputer and go properties > Advanced > Performance settings then set it on "adjust best for performace" then clik ok

3) run spyware cheks using this program Webroot Spy Sweeper 3.5 link:

Get BootVis by Microsoft. It optimizes startup's and shutdowns.

X-Setup Pro is what you need and try hitting f2 after turning it on and then in the BIOS enable fastboot
