Ok im on my friends pc and right now it seems to be running slow, then again its a major low end gaming pc. I want to install tune up 2006 and he wont let me cause he said his dad will kill him cause it will kill his pc. Is this true? I doubt it casue ive seen it make other pcs run faster and run more efficently. Also is zonealarm any good for a system or is it jsut a waste and not needed. His dad basically says all the stuff you guys hate is good. Hes retard and things he knows more about pcs but its all old chool

Just run adware spyware virus cleanup registry scans. Fix his startup menu. Then compact his registry. Then defrag his disk. When this is done use Windows backup and backup his PC.
