Trying to verify that folder 'Windows/WinSxS/Temp/PendingDeletes' exists!

I've recently run 'sfc /scannow' on administrative command prompt, and it failed to complete its scan. I'm supposed to verify that both 'PendingRenames' and 'PendingDeletes' folders still exist under 'Temp'. I cannot see a 'PendingDeletes' folder, even when I choose the 'show hidden folders' option under 'organize'. But when I tried to create a 'PendingDeletes' folder a popup warns me that such a folder already exists.
I am reluctant to barge ahead and create the folder, since I've heard the WinSxS\Temp folder contents if messed with can screw up the operating system. What do you guys think?

Uncheck the option to hide System Files & Folders.
