Trying to Unistall windows 2003

I have windows 2003 installed on a computer and I would like to uninstall it and install windows 98. How can I reformat the computer to remove the operating system.

I believe 98 came with a formatting tool, you'll have to boot to the CD (98 didn't come standard as a bootable disk so you'll have to ensure you have a bootable copy - from what i vaguely remember) and format from their using 98's formating tool. Then install on the freshly formated partition.

The problem is I don't have the original disk for the 2003 and it is asking me to register and won't let me access DOS through the start up menu. When I just put in the 98 disc it tells me windows can't go back to 98. I was hoping to somehow during the bootup process just clear the entire hard drive and then load 98.

Use a Windows 98 bootdisk on a floppy

fdisk and then format

then install 98
