Trying to install Windows XP...

Hello, i cant seem to load a Windows XP CD, Even though my CD Drive can read CD-R..

The CD im using:

did you write the cd as a bootable image not just the image on the cd?

i have no clue, its the ones off Torrent mate.

Did you just put it onto a cd using the xp 'burn to cd' function?

Nope? i use nero to burn CD's etc

Its not bootable. If you can read it while within Windows but not while booting it is not bootable. Nothing you can do to fix it but get a better copy.

Could probably use nLite to make a bootable XP disc out of the installation files that were gotten, if it was not an ISO file. .
