Default trying to delete a folder

Hello

I was trying to delete a folder "Storage"

i had actually merged two independent partitions, one being Storage. now it contins a "System Volume Information" folder.

whenever i try to delete it, i get the following message.

cannot delete System Volume Information: Access is denied

Make sure the disk nis not full or write-protected and that teh file is not currently in use.

i tried to change the attribute of the System ... folder , from read only by unchecking the box but it reverts back to read only evene after i hit apply.

I use this, you just right click and it tells you what program it is locked with and then you have the options to unlock the folder so you can move it or delete it, works every time]

There's the other way but it's required U have dual boot like Win98 along with WinXP.
Just boot to Win98 and show hidden files and folders, locate to System Volume Information in any partions and U can easily delete it without warning!
