False. Completely and utterly False. UAC has nothing to do at all with how a file is opened. It is User Account Control used to help protect your system. Very few files even trigger UAC.

I can't get access to the article because work has blocked that site but from what MAK213 has posted I agree. False

From a help file I read a wile back the UAC restricts a programs access to system resources to protect the PC.
