I don't think Ubuntu supports NTFS by default but its a very easy thing to install, just search NTFS in add/remove programs and it comes up and takes like 10 seconds to install NTFS support.

Ubuntu didn't support it in the past, but it comes out of the box now. I see you're using Hardy Testing. Maybe they don't have NTFS built into that yet.

Right, but Hardy is also still in testing stages, which means it ain't done yet. It won't be done for another 2-3 months, which is almost half of the 6 month cycle. His sig says that's what he's using.
