I'm going to partition a 250 gig hard drive into three sections (I was thinking ~100gb for vista, ~75 for XP, ~75 for ubuntu).

Which should I install first? In the past I just have had separate hard drives, so I didn't need a boot menu. So I have no idea how to set it up.

Any tips/advice?

Mostly depends on which Bootloader you want to use. Do you want to use Vista's bootloader (BCD), or Ubuntu's bootloader (GRUB)?

Either way, I'd say XP first.

For GRUB bootloader: XP > Vista > Linux
For BCD bootloader: XP > Linux > Vista

XP First, then Vista. Then Ubuntu. If you want GRUB it can be kept. If not it can be fixed.

K, i'll do XP>Vista>Ubuntu

Just go 12hrs of file transfer left..... Bought a new HDD, getting all my files off the RAW one.
