Default Transferring files

I have 5 partitions on my hard drive. I've decided that I want all my program files on a seperate partition but I know by copying and pasting them to the other partition, most of my software just wont work anymore. I want to know how to transfer folders to a different spot on the PC so the registry can still find and load everything.

If you reinstall the software, you can point the install to the partition you want in most cases
