Transferring Files

I have and Old IDE Hard drive that i backed my music up on to because i wanted to keep but now that i have the new computer all finished. i want to access the music files . but one is windows 7 and the other XP how can i acses the windows xp files

Does your motherboard have IDE hookups? If not, then just get an external enclosure, and plug it in that way.

I wound up just using a spare computer and using Wondershare Live Boot. to clone the drive to external drive

More work than you needed to do, but that works too lol.

Honestly wasn't that bad. i hooked up the External HD and just cloned the Drive
