I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section but I don't know where else to post it. Anyway I have a question about my comp, when i run regedit and spybot it times out and closes after 10-15 seconds. Sometimes it'll close down instantly and sometime it'll stay running for a minute if I don't touch it. Everything else runs fine and fast. Can someone please help me, I'm so lost outside of my automotive world lol. Thanks in advance. Windows XP if it matters by the way.

Could u post a screenshot of the process list ... Or run something like Hijackthis n' post the log ..

Yea, that and a list of the specs of your PC.....no hardware is needed but the OS type and some software that you run on the PC as well.

Windows XP 02, not a whole lot of software except kazaa lite, a couple car test programs, tribes 1, spyware finder programs, and AIM. Heres a list of whats running as of now..

CFD.exe
EXPLORER.EXE
RUNDLL32.EXE (new one as of today)
SVCHOST.EXE
IEXPLORER.EXE
devldr32.exe
DellMMKb.exe
TASKMGR.EXE
Csrss.exe
SPOOLSV.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
LSASS.EXE
SERVICES.EXE
WINLOGON.EXE
CSRSS.EXE
SMSS.EXE
NAVAPSVC.EXE
CTSVCCDA.EXE
Nhksrv.exe
CManager.exe
WkCalRem.exe
System
System Idle Process

Usually theres only 18-19 processes so I don't know why theres 26 all of a sudden. I can get a screenshot if you still want, Just figured this would be easier unless you need to see the mem usage or something. I've got Adaware, Spybot, CWS shredder, Hijackthis, and Norton, bad thing is though I can't run Norton cause it's doing the same thing spybot and regedit are now. I saved the log for hijackthis if you still need it I'll post it. Thanks again.

Don't seem to see anythin' wierd here .. Post the Hijackthis log .. It contains a little more details .
N' it would make it easier to figure out which process is what ..

Hopefully someone can figure this out for me, hope i don't have some weird virus :(

Nobody has any ideas? This is getting really irritating since some of my car test programs do it too. Thanks for trying to help anyway, much appreciated.
