computer was frozen; files would not open ,talked for hours with microsoft ....no answers...discovered a weird entry in my services from my router.. nicserv.exe {nicser_nwp11b}.unchecked the box next to the service ...and bingo ...everything works perfect again...Please pass this info to other tech sites .I hate typing.NETWORK EVERYWHERE IS THE CULPRIT !! I already informed them.
think you have a virus ? I found the real problem !!
