Is there a way for data recovey to gain the names of files on a formatted drive?

Whenever I use data recovery I end up with about 90000 files because my harddrive was formatted but these files have no name and is not sorted out in any particular order, so does anyone know a way for the files to be sorted out or given their original names? please and thank you.

You might be able to but it is doubtful. Recovery software will be your best bet but it most likely will do 001.jpeg and so on.

Chances are that the program is showing that because you have already wrote data over top of the old partition... You can try to recover them files but chances are they are raw data and the such...
