Is there such software that will allow me to assign or map certain sounds to a certain sound card?
Bascially, I have two soundcards and have alot of uses that I could do with if there was such a program.
One example, MSN messenger can let me choose which soundcard I want to hear people on when setting it up through their audio wizard. This is great too, because that allows me to talk over MSN through my headset and only their voice is heard over my headset. I can then play music or games or whatever and the sounds from them come out my other soundcard and is played through my speakers.
Unfortunetly Yahoo mesesenger does not have this function and its abit of a hassel that if I were to have a voice convo over Y!, I have to run around behin my PC and switch the headset and speaker cables around which is stupid.
So, if anyone heard of a program that will allow me to get around this problem and allow me to map/assign any sounds to a soundcard of my choice please let me know.
