so i tried to set up some of my old favorite PC games for my kid
and after googling it every page said how really simple it is jsut download this install this load up game etc.. bullsht
3 hours later i still havent ran a single game that i wanted
i got the vmware player that supposed to be emulating windows xp
i got my games in mdf file saved with legit serial numbers that i purchased long time ago on cds
got virtual drive setup installed the game in windows 10 and try to run it with vmware but it doesnt work...
i have quake2 quake3 unreal tournament tron2.0 etc...
besides tron 2.0 and need for speed i cant get any of the older games to run
i got as far as setting up windows xp in vmware and then it says i have to download and install something else which i cant even find that screen on my vmware
anyone have tried to do this successfully?
