taskbar touble

When I click (left or right) on items on the taskbar, they blink orange. I can use ALT-Tab to switch between windows, but I have to use three clicks to do it the other way. I'm not shure what causes this, and i would like to find out

If U installed any tuning OS software?
I think the OS should be re-installed to work correctly, or the last SP do once again.

It went away for awhile and now it's back

i suggest virus cleaning and hijackthis
i dont know what else could cause ur task bar to flash colors... if its a windows problem u usually get a nice little error saying: u have an error, pls send bill gates $50 US dollars and he will tell u where to go to fix it. then when u get there it will tell u where to go to fix it again... and again and again...
anyhow... sounds like some one is hackin ur computer kus color disfiguration wouldn't add another taskbar
hit cntrl alt del and make sure nothing is running under processes taht u dont know about
