I am having problems, when i press ctrl+alt+del to get task manager, it says
"task manager has been disabled by the admin"

The account i am using is an admin account however, and I have double checked this!

I recently had a virus which AVG sorted out, I dont have any more.

I am using Windows XP Pro.

Any ideas?

thanks

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Name: DisableTaskMgr
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1=Enablethis key, that is DISABLE TaskManager
Value: 0=Disablethis key, that is Don't Disable, Enable TaskManager

Since i dont have pro this is what i did to try and fix my problem and to my suprise the value was already 0, but my task mgr is still disabled.
