Default System Recovery, Backup?

I have a partition drive (D that already came with the computer and you can do a recovery thing and i think that drive d has all the backup/info for recov. How can i create another partition so i can backup some of my own data? Drive (D Is protected by PC Angel.

you can use partition magic and split up your C: drive to however you would like.

If you can't get your hands on Partition Magic (which isn't free), you could go with GPartEd (which is free), However PM8 is a really good solution but they need to let us make a bootable CD instead of a bootable floppy rescue disk

The website is having technical difficulties. Here’s a mirror for the LiveCD, just download it; it’s an .iso file so you’ll have to burn it as an image to a CD. Then boot off it and you should get a free partitioning program.
