System Messed Up and Gaobot virus

Symantec is worthless! There AntiVirus cant update itself and if I scan my system with any other utility my system shuts down. This happens with Trend, SpyWare Doctor and others. Even if I scan with Symantic my Vaio portable just shuts down. Talking with Symantec in India, they let me know they think it's a Gaobot virus that they need to charge mne to remove...even though I have a subscription policy!

It's simple, uninstall symantec and install something that works.

I Guess they have a removal tool now. Last week if you would have got it

you would had to reformat

My Norton anti-virus software has also been refusing to run Live updates recently aswell.

make sure you turn off system restore when you use this virus
