I was curious for those that might have found software that I have not yet seen.

I have multiple PCs at home on a network of course.

I was looking for a piece of software like Ghost or something of that nature.

Where I can build a PC, patched, and loaded basic software I use...
Then back it up, VIA THE NETWORK (no CD's or DVD's)

Then in the event of a problem with my PC, I can pop in a Floppy or CD that has the required drivers and software, and it will pull the image from my server of that PCs System Drive.

Anyone know or can point me to software like this online?

Obviously I can buy things like this online, but I am looking to see if there are any applications out there, that are free.

I know beggers cant be choosers, I have many apps, just looking to see if there is one like this that is free or opensource.

Windows Platform of course...

Thanks for your assistance guys.

If you run WinXP pro, there's a feature called Automated System Restore that you can use, In 2000 you rebuild and then restore the system State from a CD or whatnot.

If your using Win9X, ME or NT, I think you might have to use Ghost or an alternative, such as Acronis TrueImage 8 or Paragon Drive Backup.

Yea, I'm all for ghost. The only trouble with Network stuff, if getting DOS drivers to load. Sometime can be a little tricky, but once you get it, it's so easy...
